November 4, 2009
On the morning of November 4,
2009, Station 75 Rescue, Engine, and Tanker were dispatched to
assist Station 43 on a working structure fire on Burns Road in
Clinton Township. First arriving units on scene reported a
trailer that was well involved with fire. Rescue 75 responded
with a crew of 5 and 75 Tanker also responded. Upon arrival on
scene, Rescue 75 crews were asked to make an interior attack on
Side C (charlie) of the building. Crews worked on scene until
released by 43 command.
November 6, 2009
Station 75, Waymart
EMS, and Mobile 9
were dispatched for
a 1 car MVA on
Farview Mountain.
November 8, 2009
Station 75 was
dispatched to assist
Station 43, Waymart
EMS, and Company 94
on a brush fire on
Stanton Road in
Clinton Township.
Rescue, Tanker, and
Brush 75 responded
within minutes of
dispatch. Station 75
crews arrived on
scene. Chief 75
established command
and reported a brush
fire about 2-3 acres
in size. 75 crews
went to work and got
a quick knock on the
fast spreading fire.
Company 94 and 43
assisted Station 75
for about an hour.
November 8, 2009
Station 75 and
Waymart EMS were
dispatched for a
small brush fire
behind Waymart
Milling. Brush 75
responded and
arrived on scene to
report a controlled
burn. All units were
put back in service.
November 8, 2009
Rescue 75 was
dispatched along
with Company 43,
Forest City EMS,
Mobile 9, and
Company 94 for a 1
car MVA on Route 247
about 1 mile from
Route 296. Chief 43
arrived on scene and
cancelled Rescue 75
and Company 94.
November 13, 2009
Rescue 75 was
dispatched along
with Company 43 and
Mobile 9 for a 1 car
MVA on Route 29
North near Elk Lake
Drive.
November 13, 2009
Rescue 75 assisted
Waymart EMS on
Belmont Street for a
seizure patient.
November 15, 2009
Station 75 was
dispatched along
with Company 43 and
their 1st alarm box
assignment for a
fire alarm on Pebble
Lane in Clinton
Township. All units
were cancelled
before responding.
November 16, 2009
Station 75 along
with Company 1 and
their 1st alarm box
assignment were
dispatched around
10:40 pm for a
chimney fire on
Shaffer Road in
South Canaan. Lake
Chief arrived on
scene to report
flames showing from
the second story of
the building. Lake
engine 1 arrived on
scene and made a
quick interior
attack. Shortly
after, 75 Rescue
arrived on scene to
assist Lake's crews
with knocking down
the fire. Once the
fire was knocked
down, overhaul went
into progress and
all units were on
scene until around
3am.
November 16, 2009
Shortly after the
dispatch of the
structure fire, 75
C-2 reported a one
car MVA on Route 296
near Robinson Road.
EMS only was needed
at the scene.
November 17, 2009
Station 75 was
dispatched for a
large fire on Route
296 North. 75 Deputy
cancelled all units,
it was a controlled
burn.
November 18, 2009
Station 75 was
dispatched to assist
Company 1 with
ventilation at the
Western Wayne High
School. Earlier,
Company 1 was
dispatched to a
small fire in the
school.
November 23, 2009
Tanker 75 was
dispatched to assist
Company 12 on a
drill at Ellen
Memorial Nursing
Home.
November 26, 2009
Tanker 75 was
dispatched to
relocate to Station
61 (Fell Twp.) while
they operated on a
stove fire. All
units were cancelled
within a few
minutes.
November 28, 2009
Station 75 was
dispatched for a
tree down on the
Owego Turnpike.
November 29, 2009
Station 75 was
dispatched along
with Company 1 and
their 1st alarm box
assignment for a
chimney fire at the
intersection of
Keystone Road and
Cortez Road.
November 30, 2009
Station 75 and
Waymart EMS were
dispatched for a
fire alarm at the
Waymart Hotel. Crews
arrived on scene to
find out that it was
a burglar alarm.
November 30, 2009
Station 75 was
dispatched for a
tree down on Keen
Lake Road.
